I will tell about penguins, dogs and birds today. My favorite animals are penguin, dog and birds.

 

Penguins are birds live on land and in the sea. All penguins have black backs and white bellies and a beak. They have very short two legs. They use their legs to swim in the water and to walk on land. Penguins have two longs wings, but they can not fly. They only use their wings to swim in the water. They have short and stiff feathers. Their feathers is very special because they are water proof. Penguins catch their food in the water.  They catch the food using their beaks. They usually eat fish, squid, shrimp and other crustaceans. Penguins live mostly in Antarctica, South America, South Africa, New Zealand and Galapagos Islands. They spend half of their time on land and the other half in the water. They can drink saltwater. Some penguins sleep standing up.

 

Dogs are domestic animals. Dogs are best friends of the human. They usually tell their emotions by barking. They shake their tail if they are happy. Dogs can live up to 20 years. People believe that 1 human year equals 7 dog years. This is not true. But, One-year-old dog is physically as mature as a 15 year-old human. Dogs can see color but it is not vivid a color scheme. A female dog gives birth after 60 days. There are  701 types of pure breed dogs.

 

A bird is an flaying animal with two feet, and a tail. Birds have feathers, wings and a beak with no teeth. Birds are bipedal animals. This means they have two feet and can stand, walk, and run. They are warm-blooded animals an they can lay eggs.  There are around 10.000 different species of birds worldwide. Birds communicate using songs and calls. The Bee Hummingbird is the smallest bird in the world and It is only 5 cm. The Ostrich is the largest bird in the world. It also lays the largest eggs and can run 97 kilometers per hour. Birds can live all over the world. They usually build their nests in trees. Because, trees provide plenty of materials for the bird to build its nest. Birds diet depends on their species. Some birds feed on nectar and somes feed on fruits, meat, bats, fruits, fish, grain and/or insects.  The lifespan of the birds also depends on their species.
