GALATASARAY FOTBALL TEAM

Galatasaray football team is the football team that is fighting in the sper league. Galatasaray football team was founded by Ali Sami Yen in 1905. Galatasaray has been the süper leauge champion 20 times so far , 17 times won the Cup Of Turkish , 15 times won Super Cups. Galatasaray football team won the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2000 and made our country proud. The only Galatasaray football team to won the UEFA Cup without defeating in 1999-2000 , in the final of the UEFA Cup , England defeated Arsenal FC clup 4-1 in penalties , becoming the first and only Tukish football team win a European Cup.  The same year Galatasaray ; won the Super Cup by beating Real Madrid 2-1. The UEFA Cup and Super Cup won by Galatasaray , the most successful Turkish team in Europa, was seen as a great success in the World.

When Galatasaray was founded , the first sportgear is red and White. These colors , which were inspired by the colors of the Turkish flag , were skeptical by period administration. İn the 1979-80 season , Galatasaray started looking for a sponsor fort he Galatasaray sportsgear . Nike  preparing Galatasaray sportsgear today.

Galatasaray makes domestic matches at the Türk Telekom Arena stadium located in Seyrantepe , İstanbul. Türk Telekom Arena stadium has a seating capacity of 52.652 and Turkey’s second largest football stadium. Galatasaray conducts Daily training at Metin Oktay facilities in Florya , İstanbul .

Galatasaray has a large community of fans across the country . Galatasaray is one of the top 3 clups that are the most popular in Turkey. Galatasaray’s main supporter group is “ultrAslan”.  

Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are the enternal competitors. Galatasaray most wins aganist his opponent on 12 february 1911 played 7-0 , while the the most defeat was played on november 6 , 2002 6-0 defead match was played.

Galatasaray’s nickname is “Cim Bom”. Galatasaray’s short name is GS. THE CURRENT PRESİDENT OF GALATASARAY İS Dursun Ö zbek. Galatasaray is 3rd place in super league.

I think , Galatasaray is the best team in Turkey and i hope Galatasaray will be champion this year..
